Erlang/OTP Developers

Duration Permanent Position, Contracting possible
Location Antigua (West Indies), West Indies
Salary Salary up to 250,000 XCD (€60,000) (after taxes) dependent on experience level.

Description We are looking for developers with a strong Computer Science background and a burning passion for Erlang/OTP who are interested in a 6-8 month project here in Antigua. Several years of exposure to a UNIX environment is a must, as is experience in design of Erlang-based systems. Knowledge of SQL, python, and believing that software should be written to be read by people are all positive factors, as is the ability to start as soon as possible.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years software development experience
  • Worked with at least 3 different programming languages
  • Good system design skills and knowledge of databases

Desirable Skills

  • Firm grasp of basic network protocols
  • Knowledge about at least one SQL server and its SQL dialect
  • Experience of writing Unit Tests / Test driven development
